Frequently asked questions
Which form fields are supported?
Text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns, radio groups, and option lists can be filled. Push buttons and unsupported field types are listed but cannot be edited here.
What does flatten form do?
Flattening writes field appearances into the page and removes interactive controls. The saved values are no longer editable as form fields.
Will the viewer show where fields are?
Detected field positions are outlined over the page preview and named in the sidebar list.
Does this work with scanned forms?
Only forms with interactive AcroForm fields are detected. A scanned page without fields must be edited with the PDF editor or OCR tools.
Are form values sent to a server?
No. Field detection and saving run locally in your browser. Your completed form is not uploaded.
