Does JPG preserve transparency?
JPG has no transparency. Any transparent areas are rendered against white.
Are HEIC files sent to a server?
No. The HEIC decoder runs locally in a browser worker.
Why might a HEIC photo fail?
Some files are damaged or use an unsupported HEIC profile. Choose another photo or export a compatible copy from your device.
What are the file limits?
Each input can be up to 25 MB and 80 megapixels.
