Cookie Policy

What File ICU stores in your browser, why, and how you stay in control.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, “cookies” covers both.

In short: File ICU only stores your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising cookies are never set unless you allow them, and your files are never stored in cookies.

Types of cookies we use

Essential (always on)

These are needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice, so they do not require consent. File ICU does not set any cookies of its own; it saves your choice in your browser’s local storage.

Analytics (off until you allow it)

We do not currently use analytics, so nothing in this category is loaded. Your choice is still saved so it applies if we add analytics later.

Advertising (off until you allow it)

We do not currently show ads, so nothing in this category is loaded. Your choice is still saved so it applies if we add advertising later.

Third-party cookies

We do not currently load any third-party analytics or advertising scripts.A few other services can be contacted while you use the site, none of which track you across websites: the OCR tool downloads its engine from jsDelivr, and our host Cloudflare delivers every page.
