Which metadata can I see?
For JPEG files, the tool checks common EXIF camera, capture-date, and GPS fields.
Does it remove GPS coordinates?
Yes. Re-encoding the image drops its embedded EXIF data, including GPS fields. A warning appears when GPS metadata is detected.
Does re-encoding change image quality?
JPG and WebP are re-encoded and may change slightly. PNG remains lossless.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Metadata inspection and re-encoding happen locally in your browser.
Are all file metadata formats detected?
