Frequently asked questions
Can I change text already in the PDF?
No. This basic editor adds new content over the page; it does not rewrite or remove existing text.
What can I add?
You can add text, outlined rectangles, translucent highlights, and PNG or JPG images. Existing PDF content remains in place.
Can I move or resize an item?
Yes. Select an item on the page preview to edit its properties, and drag it to reposition it.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. PDF overlays are written by a Web Worker on your device. The selected source PDF stays local.
Will annotations remain separately editable?
The added items are saved as PDF page content, not as a separate annotation layer. Keep your source PDF if you may want to revise them later.
